Festive Favorites Blog Hop

I love Christmas!! My fave thing about Christmas is the music. I usually pull all my Christmas cds out the week of Thanksgiving and listen to them until after Christmas!LOL! So for the blog hop I thought I would make a CD holder. There are several variations of the the CD tutorial on SCS here. I used a CD holder my upline showed me a couple of years ago for mine.

I love this H & M Christmas set!! I colored the images using gamsol magic and copic markers. I paired the image with SU ski slope dp. Heres a peek at the inside. You could use the insert to write a song list or write a note to the recipient. These are super easy to make and who doesnt love Christmas carols?!?! My faves are O' Holy Night and Carol of Bells.

My favorite Christmas memories are obviously from when I was a child. Every Christmas morning my little brother would wake me up at 5am to go downstairs to see what Santa brought us. My parents rule was that we could open 1 gift before they woke up, but had to wait to open the rest (they usually got up around 7ish). I was always annoyed with my brother since we had to sit around forever, but now I love to think back to those mornings!

That cd case is so cute! It seems pretty simple too; I'll have to try it sometime. My favorite Christmas memory was getting to open one present on Christmas Eve; it was nice to do something with just my family before all the extended family craziness.

This is such a great idea. My niece made me my own CD for christmas last year ... so my brain's working now ... wonderful idea.

Shannon this is just fantastic. I love this and had forgotten about doing these. Thanks for the inspiration. I know what I am making for Christmas this year for 1 person anyway.

Shannon, this is fabulous! I think this would be the best ever gift for the grandparents, to take a bunch of photos from through the years and burn them onto a CD, then send it all prettied up! Great idea!

Another fav Christmas memory: when I was in first grade, they dressed me in a cute little red/white striped flannel nightgown and stood me on a stool, and I sang *I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus* at a school concert. I just loved Mr. Brewer, the band director! He treated me like a little princess!
