...that was so 5 mins ago!

I wasnt sure what I was going to do for todays WT time challenge since I dont own a clock stamp then I saw someone used a great sentiment that referred to time so I thought Id go through my sentiments and see what I could find. I saw this sentiment in the ...and then I said set I got at CHA that hasnt even seen ink yet!! So I had to use it! I paired this sassy girl with some BG dp. I think this is a great teen set and when I think of teen cards I think of fun funky dp and bright colors. I think this June bug dp is about as funky and bright as I can get!LOL!!
Im trying out some blonde combos for copics. I used yr20, yr23, and yr31 for this one and I like it but I think next time I add a little e31 or e33 for more a sandy blonde look. Maybe?!?LOL!! I find I dont like the y's b/c they are just too bright for hair IMO.

Stamps: And then I said-MFT
Paper: june bug dp, new leaf (pti), white
Ink: memento black, versamagic key lime, copics yr20, yr23, yr31, e0000, e00, e21, r24, r29, yr04, yr16, yr07, y02. y06, y08, w1, w3, w5, 0
Accessories: ek success border punch, paper piercer, MM rhinestone brads, circle and square nesties, sponge dauber

Tea Party Stella

Stella looks all ready for New Years not really a tea party!LOL! I used todays sketch challenge for my layout. I added some crystal effects to the glass and glitter to Stellas crown and wand. I colored Stella with copics and used prismacolor pencils for some shadows. Im still not loving this card maybe its the pastel colors!?! I used some retired SU dp tea party that hasnt even been opened yet!LOL!

TGF Twinkle Tots

I dont know about all you stampers out there but I so need a break from Christmas cards!LOL!! I spent last week finishing up all my cards so I pulled out this image I got from tgf that hadnt even been inked up yet and colored him up. This is another image I HAD to have! I love it! It is perfect for my little boy since most of waking hours are spent with a game controller in his hands!LOL!! J/K but he would have it that way if I would let him!LOL!! When I colored this image I wanted to color it up for Bray so I colored his shirt orange which is his favorite color and even colored his socks with the gray toes like his has. After I had the image colored up I went digging through my stash of dp to see if I had some I could pair with my image. I found this dp from MME I think it called front porch. I have no idea how long Ive had it. I used sketch #2 from tgf 12 days of sketches for my layout. Since this card is for a boy I left off ribbon and added some piercing and brads for embellies. I also distressed some of the edges. Now its time to make some goodies with the kiddies! Have a great day!

Christmas Cardinal

I wanted to make a non cutesy Christmas card so I borrowed this SU Christmas cardinal set from my Mom and colored him up last night. When I saw featured stamper Pams card here I knew it was the one I wanted to case. I love when that happens! I kept the layout but left off the border punch. I really like her ribbon treatment but I didnt have enough room on my image so I used a buttony bow instead. I also used pearls instead of rhinestones brads and changed the placement.
Busy day today! I HAVE to get started wrapping presents and we have our Christmas play tonight where Santa will drop by for a visit! The kids are being extra good today!LOL!! Have a great day!!

Stamps: Christams Cardinal

Swiss Pixie Nora

I cased this fabulous card of Amys and realized its very close to this weeks sketch challenge. I also made this card for this weeks Flutter by winter challenge. I added some frosted lace stickles to the snowflakes and her wings. I added some snow on the ground using MS snow glitter. I love this new to me MME dp! I colored Nora using copics to match the dp and added some pearls to her jacket and hair. I sponged all the edges and Nora with antique linen distress ink to match the dp. Sorry! Not very chatty today. Alana had bronchitis this week that she obviously has passed along to me so Im gonna keep this post short and sweet! Have a great weekend!

Sassy Winter Fairy

Doesnt this fairy look so sassy to you?!! I actually won this winter fairy and the other season fairies from TGF. I was so excited! I wanted to color her with a frosty look but instead decided to use this Jolly by Golly paper and color her to match these. I really like her though so I plan to make a few more cards with her with some different colors I want to try on her. Okay so before I get any further into the card I have a confession...Im completely AR about color coordination. I stayed with SU for so long b/c I love their cs and dp and I knew which colors were in the dp. Since Ive been stamping their cs is just about all I've used. I do love some PTI white and bought their assorted pack when they released it so I like theirs also but other than a pack of Coredinations cs PTI and SU is the only cs I've ever bought. Like alot of others since the new IDA I decided to not sign it and no longer be a SU demo. So long story short after I pulled out this dp and colored up this fairy I realized I really didnt have any cs to match the dp!! GASP!! So I tried to find the closet match possible to what I had. I even went into SCS to try to see what cs others were pairing with it. What I ended up using is PTI aqua mist and ocean tides which are not great matches to the dp so needless to say AR color coordinator that I am I not too thrilled with this card. LOL! My buttony bow was not even being cooperative today! I think this sassy fairy is smirking at me!!LOL!! So I have some questions for you today not something I usually do but go with me here...what cs do you use the most? Do you buy your dp and hope you have cs that matches just b/c you like the dp and if you dont have cs to match what do you usually do?! I was going to just use like a cream colored cs base and not use any colored cs but I was out of it too! Ive also seen alot of companies releasing kits where you get dp, cs, and matching embellies all together so maybe I need to look into getting some of those!? Well since I've gone on and on and completely gotten sidetracked on my card I'll just list the supplies below.. Have a great day!!

ETA: I totally forgot to mention that I used another of Mercys fabulous sketches for this card!!

Stamps: Winter fairy-The Greeting Farm

Ink: copics bg10, bg11, bg13, bg72, bg75, e42, e43, e00, e50, e51, r20, antique linen distress ink
Paper: PTI aqua mist and ocean tides, PTI white, jolly by golly dp
Accessories: aqua mist ribbon, silver cord, silver brads, dimensionals, paper piercer, diamond stickles, large label nesties

Meowy Christmas

Okay I dont usually say this about my cards but I just LOVE how this card turned out!! I think this HH kitty is the cutest in her Santa hat! I colored her using copics and decided to color her a pink hat instead of red. I used the out of the nestie technique for her hat and sponged some garden green ink around the image while it was still in the nestie. I added some frosted lace stickles to her hat too. I pulled out some MME dp my Mama gave me (gotta love her!!) to go with my kitty. The pink in the dp really is a closer match to PTI berry sorbet than it looks in the pic. I used Jens sfytt for my layout. I love this sketch too. Of course I had to add a buttony bow to it (Im so lovin these!LOL!) and some pewter dew drops. Thats it for me today! Hope you have had a great day! Bray lost one of his front teeth this morning so he can be singing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" soon!LOL!!

Stamps: Meowy Christmas-High Hopes
Paper: PTI berry sorbet, ga pacific white, MME dp

Santa, Horse and Pup

Todays featured stamper is Michele. I chose Michele's card here. Its been awhile since I played with my Whipper Snapper stamps so I chose one of her WS cards to case and changed the image. I kept the simple layout since this image is so large but I flipped it and added dp. I punched a half circle out of the image so my big snowflake buttony bow would fit. I also added a little piercing in the corner. This image was fun to color but let me tell you it took me forever to color!LOL!! Hubby was watching UFC last night so I colored it while I pretended to watch the fight with him!LOL! Have a great day!

Stamps: Santa, horse and pup- Whipper Snapper

Frosty Day Emma

Happy Friday!! Since Im feeling a little better today I decided to try to put together a card from the images I've colored up. I found the Diedrich Dare challenge this week and decided to play along with the sketch. I also played along with this weeks All that Scraps challenge to make a Christmas card but I went with the non traditional colors in this retired SU frosty day dp. I think the last time I used this dp I colored the hair orange too!LOL!! I love red/orange hair! Dontcha wish you could go to the salon and tell them okay I want yr04 first then yr07& yr09 then finish it off with a little e09!LOL!! Okay so maybe I need to back off the muscle relaxors a little!LOL!! Okay so back to the card of course the images are colored using copics and I added a little MS snow glitter to the tree but its hard to see in the pic. I also sponged bashful blue lightly around the edges of the nestie. Ive seen lots of Magnolia cards where they have an image in the background and the girl/boy popped up in front of it so I gave it a try with this card for a something a little different. What do you think!? Have a great weekend!! Hubby is off tomorrow so we plan to put up the tree, make some cocoa, and watch Christmas movies (and hopefully squeeze in some stamping time!).

If you visit my blog often you already I know I love me some Sugarplums and Swiss pixies!LOL! The winter releases of Emma and Trevor are so cute and Im still kickin myself for not getting them when I could preorder them! I just have a hard time buying something without seeing it first!! Im not very big on surprises!LOL! I colored Trevor one of the days I was bed bound and my hubby was nice enough to set me up a little coloring station in bed!LOL! Aint he sweet!?! He even knew which folder to grab that had all my Christmas dp in it. Score one for hubby!LOL! I thought Trevor would look cute paired with the dp with the hats. I think its Imaginesce. I used Mercys sketch for this week for my layout and added some piercing but kept the ribbon off since I wanted it to be for a boy and the sparkle on the dp is prolly pushing it!LOL! Have a great day!

Wassail Fairy

Sorry I havent posted in a couple of days. I slipped a disc in my back and it has NOT been fun!! Been in bed for 2 days so sitting at my desk to create was not happening! I made this card over the weekend sometime using Mercys sketch from last week and this adorable new image from All that Scraps. This cutie fairy is Holly Starshine and I just had to pair her with this holly dp from Wassail. I promise my next card I wont use this dp!LOL!! I had a hard time cutting the image out the nestie I wanted to use! It slipped when I went to emboss it so I ended up having to cut all the embossing off and used my ticket corner punch instead. I also colored some clear colored bling to match my dp. Lovin that still! I had to take the pic inside since we are having yucky rainy weather today so the pic is not the greatest but I wanted to be able to post something today! Hope you have a great night! Im heading back to bed since I seem to have overdone it at work today!

Wassail Christmas Emma

Its been awhile since I had a chance to play along in the challenges so I was excited to play in todays FS challenge. Congrats to Mrs Boz! I cased her card here. I kept the layout but added some layers, moved the piercing to the main image mat, added some pearls, left off the sentiment, and used different nestie labels. I used this adorable new image from ATS. I love the sugarplums! Im lovin this wassail dp right now for some reason. I also did something that Ive never done before on this card. I couldnt figure out what embellies I wanted to use and went looking through my bling box and came across some off white pearls but they wouldnt work and then I remebered you can color them with your copics! Another perk of copics!LOL!! So I colored my pearls and love how they look! The red pearls were just what I needed to finish off my card!

Stamps: Christmas Emma
Paper: wassail dp, always artichoke, white

Peas on Earth

LOL!! This image is just so cute to me...AND the best part is its a freebie if you join the PCP Whimsie Doodle group. I usually dont really do sentiments for a focal image b/c of course I like to color and I always feel my cards are too BLAH with nothing colored on it!LOL!! Other people make GORGEOUS cards with just sentiments but I dont like MINE!LOL! So this card was a little different for me but I love how it turned out!! I used Jens sfytt for my layout and paired the image with Eskimos kisses dp. The letters were harder to shade than I thought they would be since Ive gotten so used to coloring people!LOL! Dont look too closely at my E since it was the first one I colored and I couldnt get it to blend the way I wanted BUT I already had all my little peas colored and didnt want to redo the image! After I colored the image I cut it out using the large labels and sponged pretty in pink around the edges. I used PTI new leaf and aqua mist cs along with SU pretty in pink. I added some piercing along the bottom of the card and used MS snowflake punch and pink dew drops for my embellies. I think this turned out pretty cute!!

I had a blast today shopping but oh Im soooo tired!! I left my house at 3:45 am to meet up with my friend to begin our shopping day and I just got home at 4:00 pm! I finally found someone who can hang shopping with me!LOL!! My Mom and MIL cant hang!! J/K Mama!! I love you!LOL! I was able to finish just about ALL my shopping today though and was able to spend the day with a great friend! Hope you had a great shopping day too!

Long card Ivy

I was going through my archives today and found this card I made last week that I forgot to share. I made this card for Mercy's sketch challenge from last week and Fridays long card challenge. I already had this image from The Greeting Farm colored up so I had to dig through my dp and find some that matched. I found this piece of polka dot dp from a stack from MME. I usually always find my dp first then color my image but since I was totally intimidated with this image I colored it first!LOL! I dont know why I was so scared to color it now! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving full of family friends and fun!! Im off to get some sleep so I can be ready to shop til I drop tomorrow!LOL!! Have a great one!

No dp Madelynn

OMG!! I had so much fun coloring this sweet little girl! She is from The Greeting Farm's Twinkle Tots line. I colored her using yesterdays color challenge colors Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, and Pretty in Pink. I used ALOT of colors to color her up but I love the result! Since I used a Greeting Farm image I decided to play along with the FFF challenge. No dp! I pulled out some very neglected background stamps and a new ef folder for this card. Using Mercys Tuesday sketch for my layout I stamped Linen (my fave background) onto the old olive layer before I used the ef and sponged the edges. For the bermuda bay layer I stamped the Tres Chic background and sponged the edges. I didnt want to add alot of embellies so of course I just stuck with ribbon. I cut Madelyn out with some of my new nesties and sponged the edges with pretty ink pink then added her using dimensionals.
I hope to get alot of stamping done on our Thanksgiving break but for today its cleaning before everyone comes for tommorrow! Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Santa Ian

Finally I can upload!! I tried 3 times yesterday to upload this card!UGHH!! For my card I used last weeks mojo sketch but left off the circle sentiment since. I went flipping through some of my dp and ran across this wassail dp from Basic Grey and thought the present dp was perfect for Santa Ian. I love this wassail dp b/c it has sahara sand in it and I NEVER use that color so I added some sponging to dp and cs. At least it get used one time a year!LOL! I colored Ian using copics and added some sparkly fluff from eclectic paperie to his suit and hat. I also went over his shoes and belt with sakura clear glaze pen and his belt with gold. I think I'll give this card to Bray's teacher for Christmas since Bray says Ian looks like him!LOL!

Candy Cane Snack

I warned you Im totally addicted to digi stamps right now. This uber cute image is from The Greeting Farm. I love Marina's animals! I colored this candy cane snack image using copics and cut it out with nesties then sponged the image using antique linen ink to make the white on their clothes stand out more and to match the dp. I used Jolly by Golly dp by Cosmo Cricket it was just perfect for these candy cane snacking mice!LOL! Okay normally Im NOT a mice person but these are adorable! I kept the embellies off this card and just added some piercing in the corners since this will be a mailed card.

Why arent there enough hours in a day to do the things we WANT to do and not just the things we HAVE to do!LOL!! I have several images on my desk just waiting to be colored and Im just dyin to color them but Im in the middle of a book I just cant put down plus theres that job/wife/mom thing too!LOL!! Im so looking forward to Thanksgiving break! Come on Tuesday!!LOL! Plus I did a really stupid thing and agreed to meet one of my besties for the midnight showing of New Moon tommorrow night. What was I thinking!?!LOL! I know we'll have a ball but seriously...you need sleep to survive a Friday at the Prek!LOL!! Have a great night!

Eskimo Kisses

Isnt this image the sweetest!??! Ive seen qutie a few beautiful cards in blogland using this image from Mo's Digital Pencil and I just had to have it. (I say that all the time dont I?!)LOL! This is my first time ordering from them and I just love this image so I will probably be getting more soon! Im really hooked on digi stamps right now the only thing is my printer wont take the thicker cs like PTI or CC designs copic paper so Im having to use my GA pacific cs and its not my fave to color on with copics. I have a HP deskjet 3940 so if anyone has found a trick to using the thicker cs I'd love to know. If not any suggestions on printers that will use the cs would be great too.

Okay onto the card. Of course I colored my image using copics. (BTW I plan to pull of my prismacolor pencils and give them some love this week!) I colored the image using the colors from the MME dp. I have no idea the name since I got it in a stack at HL but I thought it had nice wintry colors so I went with it. I added some snow glitter to the ground and sponged the edges with antique linen ink. A double row of piercing and a bow finish off my simple card. Have a great night!

A treasure for Birgitta

Horray for Dawn todays featured stamper!! I love Dawns gallery and had to case her swiss pixie card here. I kept the layout and stamp but changed the colors, left off the sentiment, and add some embellies. I love this peppermint dp I got from Michaels a couple of years ago. I cut into my last sheet today (pout!). It was just perfect for this Santa Birgitta image and candy cane stripe ef. I colored her using copics and added frosted lace stickles to her hat and some chunky Christmas glitter I got from a friend to her wings.

Stamps: santa birgitta-All that scraps
Paper: Coredinations cs, paper studio dp
Ink: copics, versamagic pixie dust (sponged around the nestie)
Accessories: white grosgrain, button, silver cord, pewter dew drops, dauber, oval nesties, frosted lace stickles, christmas chunky glitter, candy cane stripe ef

Swiss Pixie Nora

Two rainy days and no outside playtime does not make for fun days at the PreK! I needed to stamp today!LOL!! I had this image already colored for the Copic Creations red hair challenge and when I saw the sketch for today I knew I had to make a card. Thanks Rox and Dawn for a great sketch. I love the colors in the MME Christmas dp and while Im waiting on it to get to me I decided to play with this SU dp from last year. BTW the sponging around the image was supposed to be bashful blue but I think I picked up the sage shadow dauber! Oopss but I wasnt going to trash it so just pretend its bashful blue!LOL!
Angela thanks for the email about the hair colors!

Stamps: Nora
Paper: white, tangerine tango, choc chip, SU dp from last year
Ink: bashful blue ink (or at least it was supposed to be!), copics
Accessories: bashful blue brads, kiwi kiss ribbon, dimensionals, diamond stickles, waterfall stickles

Heidi Ornament

Have I ever said I hate Mondays before?!?! My Monday was actually going pretty good until I got to my car this afternoon only to find I had a flat tire! So there went my plans to go to Lowes today and get the light I need to take my pics so here I am with another pic with yucky lighting but I finally made a card and wanted to post it yucky lighting and all. Yall know I love me some Swiss Pixies so when All that scraps release 3 different Swiss Pixies last week I had to have them all!! I went on a shopping trip with Mama over the weekend and came across this dp from Paper Studio and thought it would be perfect with this image OH and that MS punch just ended up in my buggy too! Dont know how that happened!LOL!! I colored the image using copics using the colors from the dp and used added diamond stickles to her wings. I also added crystal effects to the ornament and it came out in a big glob so some of her hand is covered. Oh and a little piece of advice...dont add crystal effects before you cut and emboss with nesties! Thankfully you cant see it very good but it made an indention in my image for some reason!
Recipe:
Stamps: heidi with ornament CC designs
paper: Coredinations cs, white, dp paper studio
Ink: Copics g94, g99, r27, r29, r59, y08, y17, y21, y38, y26, y28, Brilliance galaxy gold (sponging around nesties)

Bundled Up Mike

This is another one of those cards Im just not sure about!! When I saw the Color Throwdown colors this past week I thought they would make a fun winter card for polar animals! So I went looking through my animals and found Bundled Up Mike from Whipper Snapper. I colored him using the colors from the challenge and added some sponging around this edges of the circle with Versamagic wheat chalk ink. I also added some stardust stickles to the image for some sparkle. I also went over his nose with the Sakura clear glaze pen to make it a little shiny. I used up some scraps of cs and dp to finish up my card and played around with them until I found a layout I thought would work. Now yall know me and layouts but I didnt use a sketch on this one! Yayy me! I added a Joanne buttony bow to finish off my card. I cant really put my finger on why Im not lovin this card but maybe it will grow on me!LOL!

Fresh Snowfall

While my kids were cleaning their room today so they could go trick or treating I threw a card together. I used Jens sfytt for my layout. LOVE this sketch so you will probably see it again this week! I was going through some of my dp and pulling out some old Christmas dp to use and came across this SU parisan breeze (I think!) and thought it would work for Christmas too. I colored (with copics) up this fun Whipper Snapper snowman called Fresh Snowfall to match the dp. I actually got a second card made I will share with you tommorrow. Yes it takes my kids THAT long to clean their room!LOL!! Poor Alana cleaned her room and then got sick 15 minutes into us trick or treating. So I had to bring her home and Daddy had to take the other 2. Hope you had a happy Halloween!

Bettys Turkey Ride

I love having images colored up so I can actually post something to share with you! Today Im sharing a card with you I made for Mercys Tuesday sketch challenge. I love doing sketch challenges and Mercy always has a great sketch! I dont usually make Thanksgiving cards but when I saw this adorable image from Pink Cat studio I had to have her...along w/several others!!LOL! I paired her *again* with the Recollections dp from Michaels. I promise this is the last card for awhile using this dp!LOL! I colored Betty using copics and added some shadows using prismacolor pencils. Im really liking the slate gray for shadows with this dp! Mercys sketch had a layer for borders so I thought this MS zig zag border would work since it matches her hat!

Jolly by Golly Vivi

I colored up this Vivi elf image over the weekend at Mamas I used the colors from the cosmo cricket dp. We had a great time and I got a few images colored up! Last night I sat down and tried to make a card using the Anyone for Anya sketch and it just didnt happen. I couldnt get my card they way I wanted so when I saw todays sketch challenge on SCS I decided to give it a try with the dp and image I wanted to use. Thankfully it came together so easily! Love when it happens like that! I think she looks so cute and fun paired with this dp!

I am so tired today! We had a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch at the Prek and it was a LOOONNGGG day!LOL!

For todays or I guess I should say tonights card I used this adorable Bitty Betty image. Shes wanting everyone to have a Happy Turkey Day! I paired her with my fave fall paper Recollections from Michaels. I cant wait to see their Christmas paper since I enjoyed using this fall paper so much! Indian Summer Bella

I made a card today! But I had LOTS of help!LOL! I started with the FS challenge. I chose this card of Rachels to case. She used Indian summer dp and mine just came in the mail last week so I had to use it! I was trying to decide what image to use when I found this card by Linda I had bookmarked. I LOVE how she colored Bella in this and decided to use her card as my coloring inspiration. I used Jens sfytt for my layout. I also used a buttony bow I saw on Joannes blog. See told ya I had lots of help!LOL!
Im so glad to be back to stamping!! We got my new desk put together since I was w/out a computer and cable we decided it was a good time to get everything moved around. I love my desk and we finally have our kitchen table back!!LOL! Now I have my computer at my stamp desk so I colored up some images last night while watching some episodes online I missed while we were without cable. We were are heading to Mamas later to play and color up some images! Hope you have a great Sunday!

Broken break

Well my fall break has NOT turned out the way I planned!LOL!! On Friday my car decided to leave us on the side of the road on our way to Albany for a shopping trip with Mama. So its sitting in the yard until Monday when the shops open. Thankfully my Dad was back in town from his vacation and tow it for me. We got home to find out that in a lightning storm Thursday night lightning struck our cable/internet modem so we also have no tv/internet until Monday! I feel like I've gone back in time!LOL! What did we ever do w/out vehicles, tv, and internet!LOL! Well at least my house is clean since I didnt have anything else to do!LOL! Im at Mama's right now for our birthday dinner. Hope you all had a less eventful weekend than I did!LOL!! Hope to be back tommorrow!

Swiss Pixie Sunflower

I promise I have stamps other than CC designs or Pink Cat Studio I just cant seem to use them right now! I keep going back to these adorable images. Im just a little obsessed right now!LOL! I really liked todays colors and thought they would be perfect for this new Swiss Pixie! I love sunflowers so this image was a must have for me! I used Mercys sketch challenge also. 2 challenges for me on the day of the challenge! Woo hoo! Havent been able to do that in quite awhile! It took me almost 2 hours to make this card since I didnt have the image already colored. Ive never been one to be able to make a card in 20 mins which is why I dont get to post everyday. I usually have time to color an image one night then put together a card the next. It doesnt help that as soon as I sit down at my stamp table my kids think of 50 things they need RIGHT NOW!LOL!! When I wasnt working I had plenty of time to stamp but was very limited on what I could buy. Now I can buy more stuff and dont have time to use it!LOL! LIFE huh?!? Im looking forward to next week since we have fall break and I will be spending plenty of time at my stamp table!

Froggy Pumpkin Fun

Todays lsc is Simply "fall"ing. We were to make a fall type card using only stamps, ink and paper. We could use nesties as long as there was a stamped image in the center. Yes I think I cheated a little using the paper piercer but it just needed "something"!LOL! When I think of fall I instantly think Halloween so I used this fun halloween image from PCS. I just love these little frogs!! So cute!! I colored the image using copics and added shadows (which is not showing up very good in the pic!) using prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I sponged versamagic melon chalk ink to the top of the image while it was still in the nestie. A really quick one for today!

Stamps: Froggy fun-PCS digi
Paper: white, Coredinations orange and yellow
Ink: Copics, versamagic melon

Turkey Case

Im home today with sick children so after a Dr visit I put them on a cartoon and went to my stamp table. I had no idea what I wanted to stamp! Do you ever have days like that?! I didnt have any images already colored up so I went into my faves and found this turkey card. I colored the WS turkey with copics using colors from the dp and added some shadows with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I forgot how cute this dp was! Ive put myself on restriction from buying any dp (no matter how cute!!) until I go through some of my stash!LOL! Several people are making this very hard and you know who you are!LOL!! So I making sure to also decorate the inside of my cards to go through my stash quicker!LOL! Have a great day!

Itty Bitty Betty's not clownin around

We've had a great weekend here! Hope yours has been the same! We were kid free last night so we went to a friends house and had a blast. Since we've been gone almost all weekend I havent had alot of computer time so I hope to catch up on my fave blogs tommorrow after school.
Its been forever since I made a tent topper card so when I saw this card in todays fs gallery I knew it was the one I wanted to case. Congrats to Lois todays fs! I kept the same theme as Lois's card. I changed the witch image to this adorable digi image by Pink Cat Studio. I colored Betty using copics and used periwinkle prismacolor pencil for the night sky look around her. I used Recollections halloween dp and cut out some of the bats from the dp to pop up on the main image. The inside sentiment says Flyin by with a halloween hi! I think this turned out pretty cute!

Fall Emma

Happy World Card Making Day!! SERIOUSLY (said in my best Meredith Grey voice) its been Tuesday since I loaded?!?LOL! We had a super busy week and Im so glad its been us! Charmaine posted a Verve color challenge a few weeks ago and I LOVED the bold fall colors she picked so I colored up this cutie Emma image using the colors although I think Im a little late for the challenge. Copic Creations challenge is to color pumpkins so I think I will go with that one!LOL! Razzleberry is quickly becoming my fave new in color! Since I liked the colors so much I didnt want a fussy layout and I really like the flower embellie! I will be using this color combo again but I think I will use pumpkin pie next time instead of dusty durango (her apron). Of course since I colored this two weeks ago I have no idea what colors I used. Sorry! Ive got to get better about that! I do know I found a combo I like for Razzleberry R59 with V6 colored over it that I used here. Have a great weekend!!

Fall Trevor

I'm luvin this fall weather we are having in Georgia today!! I made this card a couple weeks ago and decided to post it today since we are having great fall weather. I used two of my new fave things for fall Sugarplums and recollections dp!LOL! I colored this pumpkin Trevor using copics (and I have no idea which ones!) I also added some ground and highlight and this time I tried it with my copics. I think I like using my prismacolor pencils for this instead. As I was typing this I realized my ribbon isnt straight!LOL! I didnt glue down the ends ribbon b/c its slightly hanging from the sides of the card. I didnt want to add a bow but I wanted something to cover up the seam of the dps so I just decided on ribbon with no bow. Just pretend its straight!lol! Hope you're having a great fall day!

Yummy Frogs

I had so much fun playing with yesterdays challenge that I made another. Can you believe I made 2 cards in one day!??!LOL! On this card I kept my cutesy style mainly b/c Im in love with this new PCS digital stamp! Look at the adorable frogs! Gotta love it! I HAD to have them! I usually always do sketches so I rarely try to come up with my own layout mainly b/c it takes me so long and when I do I get a brain freeze!LOL! So for this card I didnt use a sketch! It took me forever!LOL!! I think it turned out pretty cute though. I used all PTI colors since they have been sitting neglected lately and I finally got my V99 copic for plum pudding and wanted to try it out. Im also loving e25, e27, and e29 for brunette hair right now! Have a great weekend!

Damask Designs

Im waiting to go to the Dr today so I thought Id check out the challenge. Todays wt challenge is to step out of your box. Well anyone who visits my gallery or blog regularly knows Im a cutesy kinda girl and I love to color. I wanted to make a more elegant type card with no coloring so I decided to pull out this Damask PTI set I got at CHA and finally give it some ink. I usually dont feel like I can pull off elegant cards like some of my fave stampers do but Im pretty proud of how this turned out. I used 3 of the colors from this weeks color throwdown.

So I thought I'd give you a break from the Sugarplums for today!LOL! I must warn you though...I will be back with more tommorrow!LOL!
This turned out to be a very big card!LOL! Its a 5 1/2" sq card because the WS image is so large. He is just so cute to me and you know I love cute! I used todays sketch for my layout. I paired the scarecrow with some fall dp from Michaels. Love this stuff!! Sorry not very chit chatty today. Got a few things I need to get done tonight. Only 2 more days left of work this week!! yayy!LOL!
