Todays ways to use it challenge fit perfectly for an image I was working on last night. I loved this mucho taco card by Leigh and I knew as soon as I got my hands on this sandwich image from Lifes a picnic by H & M that I wanted to case her card. I stamped the sandwich image twice. I colored the entire image on one and just the top loaf on the second image. I cut a slit on the colored image and used ribbon scraps to look to represent the lettuce, tomato, meat, and cheese. I matted the image on green galore.
I tried 3 times last night to get this image onto a card! Nope! I finally went to bed to leave it. When I got up this morning and I saw Julias challenge well it fit perfectly for my image but also for my desk b/c I had scraps everywhere from the 3 cards that ended up in the trash. I kept the layout super simple b/c I was tired of fighting with this card!LOL! The dp is from American crafts.
We've had alot going on the past couple of days. Alana had to go to the Dr yesterday b/c she was complaining about her throat. Well....we were referred to an EENT b/c her tonsils are abnormally large and she might have sleep apnea. I freaked out when I looked in her mouth here b/c the uvelua(sp???) looked like it was growing into her tonsils. I have never seen anything like that before! Anyway we are waiting for the appointment time from the EENT but in the mean time theyve put on her rhinocort to help her to be able to get some air since her tonsils are large enough they are blocking her air way. Not good for a kid that has ashtma! I had a hard time sleeping last night but as long as I heard her snoring I knew she was fine.
Have a great day!

Shannon, this card turned out spectactular. Sorry it was such a fight but looks like it was well worth the battle. Love it. Wait until after the tonsils are out and you do NOT hear snoring and see how scary that is,LOL
Oh my word, what a cool idea to use ribbon as the sandwich ingredients!! ha! Love it!
wow - that is super cute! I'd never have thought to do that. =)
