Winder Swaps

Good morning everyone I hope you had a fab day yesterday! Well I've promised some pics of the swaps we did in Winder and here are a few. I will be including some in the post this week. I have so much I want to show you but can not get it all on one post! The first pic is my swap. I made a post-it note tote and a pouch. My pouch is very tired after a long drive and a day full of stampin fun so you have to excuse him for slouching! LOL! Because we had to take everything you needed to make the swap I tried to keep it pretty simple (less stuff for me to keep up with). The post it tote is old olive, cameo coral, and WW. The post it tote is super easy to make. You take cs 3 1/2 x 11 and score @ 5, 5 1/2, and 6. Then punch a handle using your word window punch. Attach your post it notes to the inside with sticky strip(red line tape). Tie a ribbon around the handle and VIOLA! A super cute gift to give along with a matching card and beaded pen! To make the pouch (again super easy) I used the Au Chocolate paper from the Spring Mini but your pouch will stand better with cs or cs weight DP (like American Crafts). The paper is 5x11 and score @ 1 1/2 for the flap. I added a scalloped edge to mine and glue the flap closed! I used the thank you from tags so much and stapled ribbon to the top. I put a cello bag inside filled with paper shreds and a cute little gift! Super easy and still so cute just the way I like it!

The second pic is some of my fave swaps we did on Saturday. The cards include rock 'n' roll, emboss resist, and watercoloring direct to stamp. It was so fun to meet these ladies we had a blast. Robin was fantastic for putting this thing together! Im looking into having one in Tifton soon if you are interested let me know. I will be starting a thread on SCS with the details but I will let you know when I have decided what Im going to do. Happy Stampin

It was very fun, but a very long, long, long-long way to travel. Hope to have something closer to us next time. Good Pics
