Hello! I hope you are having a better day than I am today!! These kids are driving me insane today! I can literally feel the gray hairs growing!LOL!! Okay you know I love me some hair color combos and this weekend I came across this post by Melyssa. OMG!! I LOVE me some red hair so of course I had to try out this combo. I colored her hair first just to see if I could pull it off..(LOL) then went looking through dp to find what other colors I wanted to use. I pulled out this BG bittersweet dp and finished coloring her up. I used Jens sfytt for my layout-awesome sketch I will be using again! Okay I know this is short and sweet but I will be back later after kids are sound asleep and the house is peaceful again!LOL!!! If you ever have any questions you can feel free to email me sadersk@yahoo.com . Have a great day!!

Mad Cow
Hello everyone! Today I have a High hopes card to share with you. Ive had this image since last summer but this is the first time I've played with it. I love this look on this cow's face-it goes perfect with the "mad cow" sentiment!LOL! The inside is my fave though! Heres a peek at the inside sentiment...okay short story to share with you to let you know why this sentiment cracks me up so much! My Papa Guy was one of my favorite people in the world! He always made me laugh and I loved it! I spent just about every weekend/holiday at their house I just loved being w/him and my Granny! Not that I didnt love you too Mama! Okay so this was back in the day when Reba came out w/the song "Why havent I heard from you" and it played constantly on the radio and CMT. My Papa HATED that song!LOL!! So of course he would mock it. I so wish he was here right now so I could hear him say "Why aint I done heeered from you"!LOL!! Probably not as funny to you but I just had to share. You know we country folks here in Georgia have a BIG accent and we can sure lay it on when we really want to!LOL! I so wish my kids could have met him b/c he would have had a blast with them! I have so many wonderful memories from the time I was able to share with him. I dont know that I will ever give this card away but if I do I know the perfect person to give it to that will get this card as much as I do.
BTW..I got so wrapped up in telling you my story I forgot to add that my layout is from this weeks Crazy 4 challenges sketch by Mercy. You know I love all of Mercys sketches so I had to play along since this was her last week on the DT. Have a great day!

Krafty Sweet Messages
I have a double challenge card for you today! I used some of the Kioshi dp Kim sent me and colored this Sweet Messages image by TGF using copics. The look on her face is just so cute to me. My daughter and I are always giving funny kisses so we go down the line..fish kisses, Eskimo kisses, butterfly kisses, etc. and this image kinda looks like birdie kisses to me!LOL! I think I will give this to her on her first day of 3rd grade which is coming up sooner than I'd like!LOL!
I used Mercys Tuesday sketch for my layout and I love it-very clean and simple which is what I needed today! I also used Kraft cs for Jeanies krafty Thursday challenge. BTW did you see my new badge!?! Im a top 3 krafty chick! yayyy me!LOL!! Thanks Jeanie! Since I was using kraft cs I decided to pull out my neglected kraft brads I got a Pink Hedgehog Papercrafts. Love these! Well looks like we are in for a storm here so gotta run! Have a great night!

But hey if you got em why not use em right?!!LOL!

Daddy Lion
Yall know Im a last minute kind of girl so its no surprise I spent yesterday making Fathers Day cards right?!LOL!! I usually put off masculine cards since they are not as fun to make for me...except this card! I love how this turned out and it was actually alot of fun coloring it. I used this image by Crissy Armstrong available at Squigglefly. Ive been trying to decide if I wanted to use this image for bday or Fathers day for Danny. Its perfect since Danny is a Leo and of course the sign for Leo is a lion and we have 3 little lions! Maybe before August Crissy will come up with another "perfect image"!LOL! I love her images and she also a master at coloring so I visit her blog often-tons of inspiration available!LOL! I found this dotty background technique and decided to try it. My background didnt turn out exactly like I planned but Im still happy with it for a first try. Okay so I colored the image using copics y32, e30, e31, e42, e43, e44, and e49 for their fur and e04 and e09 for the noses. For the dotted background I used bg78, 75, 72, w3, w1, and w0. After I had my image colored I went looking for dp and stumbled across this Recollections dp from Michaels. I LOVED this dp in the fall -it was my fave but I also found that the colors in it were great for masculine cards! I paired the dp with a kraft base for Jeanie's TKT. Since this is a masculine card and the image is large I didnt want to embelish too much so I just colored a few dew drops and added them to the card. Thats its for me today! Hope all the Fathers out there have a wonderful day!

This image is Miss Thang by Kenny K. You can find more info on Kennys images and a DT call on Donna's blog. Dontcha just love her hair?!LOL! I colored her with copics and paired her with some BG sugar rush dp. For my layout I used CCEE's sketch challenge . I really like this layout! I used the out of the nestie technique for her shoes and sponged some tea leaves ink around the nestie. It still need something so I added some primas and piercing to finish off my card.
Copics used:
r85, 81, 83, bv000, bv00, bv02, bv04-clothes
yr12, 15, 23, 24, 31-hair

Kenny K's Digis
While I was blogging the other day I stumbled across these sassy and cute images by Kenny K. So somehow I ended up at the his store with a few of these cuties in my cart!LOL!! I also seen where there is a DT call for a new challenge coming using the Kenny K images. You can find more info Donna's blog about the DT call and Kenny's images.
For my first card I used Drama Queen. She so reminds me of the girl in the Princess and the Frog movie. I cant remember her name but she the blonde girl who wants her a prince!LOL!! I computer generated the "save the drama for your mama" sentiment and the inside says "to my favorite drama queen". Drama Queen is colored using copics and I sponged some key lime and mango ink around the image and sentiment. I added some clear glaze to her eyes, teeth, earrings, and phone. I added diamond stickles to her jacket for a little sparkle. I paired her with the fun MME glitter dp. I love it and it gave me a chance to use razzleberry a color I love but hardly ever use! For my layout I used the sweet Sunday sketch.
Okay so blogger isnt letting me add my second card so I guess I will post it on the next post!LOL! Copics used on image: rv23,25, 29,69, yr04, 07, 09, yg23, 25, 63, n9,7, 5, 3, 100, e000, e00, e21, r20.

Twitterpated surf
Really quick post for me today since we are getting ready to head out the door to go to Mamas for lunch and swimming. I had this Surfer Emma image out and was looking through my dp trying to decide what I wanted to pair her with and came across this twitterpated dp. Im really AR about flowers matching if there are flowers on my image it has the shape etc of the flowers on my dp! Just one of my things!LOL! So since the flowers matched I used this twitterpated dp. I even colored the flowers on her surfboard the same colors as the flowers on the dp. I colored her surfboard using bg11, 13, and 15. I colored the larger flowers using r30, r32, and r35. The smaller flowers are colored with reds r27 and r29 with y21 as the center of both flowers. Emmas hair is colored using e75, e77, and e79. I used the colors from the surfboard to color her swimsuit and added in some green using yg21, 23, 25, and 63.
I didnt sponge around my nestie b/c I had alot of trouble with this! My image slipped in my nestie and since this was the last step there was no way I was just trashing my image!LOL!! I was so mad! I used the larger oval scallops and it slipped too! Has anyone else had this problem and how do I fix it?!? I've only had this problem a couple of times before with certain nesties. I usually always run it through 2x just to make sure its cuts and embosses enough. Maybe my cuttlebug was just having a bad day!LOL!! Well Im off to go jump in the pool! Have a good one!

Peek-a-boo
We are back from the beach. We had a fabulous time!! Im ready to go back now that I've had a couple of days to rest from my short vacation. Why is it you are always sooo tired coming back from a vacation?!LOL!!
I started coloring this peekaboo girl from Bugaboo stamps for the ColorQ challenge before we left and wasnt able to finish my card until yesterday. As soon as I saw the colors I knew they were the colors in the retired SU autumn vine dp. Now that I've got my card made and posted I think thats actually more mustard instead of so saffron in the dp but oh well!LOL! I also used Jens sfytt for my layout which was perfect since I went diggin through my buttons and found these sage buttons! yayy! The smile sentiment is from Amy R's summer sentiments. I love the font of her sentiments! I need ALL of them!LOL!! Well thats all for me today. I still have tons of laundry to get done-my least fave thing!LOL! Have a good one!

Mint Chocolate Chip Bear
Happy Friday! Im back today to share with you another image Kim was so sweet to send me. I was so excited to see this adorable bear image. I knew I would have fun coloring his different flavors of ice cream. Wouldnt this ice cream cone be yummy??!LOL! Well not so much for me because Im not a big fan of mint chocolate chip ice cream but I just couldnt resist coloring it like that. Ive had some retired SU mint melody cs Ive been hoardin for awhile and thought it would be the perfect time to pull it out. I used Julees mojo sketch for my layout and look no dp! Shocker I know!LOL! I used the candy cane stripe embossing folder for the choc chip layer. I also added some PTI hibiscus burst and paper pierced it but dont look too closely to it!LOL! I couldnt decide what sentiment I wanted to use and then I saw this weeks Stamp Something Happy challenge and knew this Happy summer sentiment was perfect. I mean what says summer more than melting ice cream cones and who isnt happy with ice cream around!?!LOL!! BTW the mint brads were some white brads I sanded and then colored with yg41 to match my mint cs-gotta love copics! Have a great one!

Seas the Day
I really hope you all are having some gorgeous weather like we have been having this week. Its been so nice! We have stayed in the pool all week! Since I've been enjoying this lovely weather and getting ready to go to the beach this weekend I thought I would share a card with you using an adorable Sugarplum. This image is waving Emma. Isnt she a cutie??! She was in last years ATS summer release. I wanted to combine a couple of challenges for this card so I went looking for a sketch and color challenge. This weeks color throwdown is cool carribean, pumpkin pie, and so saffron. Emma is colored up using copics her hair is colored with y21, y26, yr24, and e25. I had to give her a little tan so for her skin I used e00, e11, and e13. For pumpkin pie I used yr15, yr16, and yr18 and for cool carribean I used bg10, 11, 13, and 15. I added some sand using e31 and e33 then made some dots using e33, e35, and e37. For my layout I used Jens sfytt . I had alot of fun with this one. I pulled out some (very dusty) polka dots pallette of prints in saffron and pumpkin pie. Its really hard to tell in the pic but the pumpkie pie layer under the nestie is embossed with the large polka dots SU plate. I even used a wave border punch I took from Mamas recently. Shopping at Mamas is the most fun!LOL!! J/K Mama! Okay thats it for me today off to go jump in the pool now! Have a great one!

Sugar Rush Snail
Check out this cutie image along w/some other cutie WS images Kim sent me in a beautiful card. Oh and she sent me a pack of BG Kioshi dp! Lovin Kim!LOL! Thanks so much girl!
So I colored up this WS image I think is called Chesterfield to match the BG sugar rush dp. I used last weeks SCS sketch for my layout and I was digging through my stamps hoping I had an "inching by to say hi" sentiment! Sadly I did not so Im gonna have to raid Mamas stamps and see if she has one. If not I will have to make a computer generated sentiment but I really want a stamp so I can stamp it on the polka dot dp. I added some stickles to the snails spots and the flower center for a little sparkle and also added a couple of dew drops for some embellishment. Pretty simple card for today. Have a good one!

Summer Melon
Since summer has started I decided to pull out all my summer stamps this week and start playing with them. This adorable image from High Hopes caught my eye first. She is just a doll! If only it were a boy it would be perfect for my little man cuz he loves him some watermelon!LOL!! I colored this playing around with a hair color combo I saw on Kims blog yr14, yr18, e09, e19( I think she used 18 but I didnt have it so I used 19). I love playing around with different hair colors and skin tones. If I see one on someones blog I always jot it down and the blog to try later. So I have a post it note pad full of stuff by my computer!LOL! Okay so back to the card after coloring her hair, skin tone, and melon (r22, r24, r27, r29) cuz I mean what color are you gonna use other than red for that?!LOL! I had to decide what color I wanted to color her dress. So I thought she just looked like a blue kinda girl. I used B00, B01, and B12 for her dress. The grass was colored using yg21, 23, 25, and 63. So after I had her colored up she waited patiently on my desk for a couple of days before she made it onto this card today. I went looking for a sketch and found Jens sfytt and decided it was perfect for this little girl. Then I went onto hunt for some dp and staying true to my promise I pulled out my SU dp first. BINGO! Rainbow sherbert! I cut the girl with the circle nestie and sponged a little apricot appeal around the nestie to tie the color into my image. Im just weird that like!LOL! If I use a dp all the colors have to be somewhere in my image! Okay so these papers really are super bright so I had to tone them down a little with some antique linen sponged on them. I added a little ribbon from my ribbon stash and added one of Tori's bow and done! Thanks for stopping by today and listening to my babble!LOL! Hope you enjoyed the card!

Feelin a little Cheeky
I love TGF's cheeky line. Such cute and sassy girls! I finally got a chance to ink up this Rockabilly. I cant wait to get my inky hands on the new Cheeky girls!
For my Rockabilly cheeky I colored her without any dp in mind I just wanted to sit down and color! So I gave her black hair using the neutral copics and colored her dress blue. I drew a line and added some shading using cool grey copics so it didnt look like she was just hanging in mid air!LOL! So as I was going through my dps to decide what to pair her with I came across some BG dp and used it. Its hard to see in the pic but the large square layer, ribbon, and her rhinestone earrings are actually a navy blue. I kept the layout super simple for this one and even used a white card base. Have a great day!

Buggin you
Ahhh summer...so glad its finally here!! Ive been enjoying this past week with my family. I dont think we've been home other than to sleep any day this past week including this week so far!LOL! I wanted to share a few cards with you over the next couple of days I made on my on again off again blogging/stamping this past year. Bless you if you still visit me!LOL! Its been a year for me but things are starting to look up so Im happy for that!
I came across Bugaboo stamps one day while going through blogs (I think its was Jeanie aka Spotted Chick)and they had this adorable ladybug image as a freebie. I was too excited! I wanted to play with the fun Twitterpated dp I only used once last year so I colored the image to match the dp and pulled out this ribbon I picked up at Micheals. When I finished coloring the image with copics I decided to try out grass again and was pretty happy until my g28 copic bled a few times. I was so mad but loved how everything else turned out so I decided to just keep the image. I sponged the edges with the closest ink I had to the cloud piece of dp but its still more off than I like. I also used a sketch that of course I didnt get this posted in time for and have no idea which sketch it was now. Im so looking forward to this summer and getting back into stamping and blogging and commenting!LOL! AND actually doing challenges on time!!! Have a great day!
