Teacher Blast Valentine

Todays ways to use it challenge was staples. When I first started stamping I used staples all the time! I havent used them in so long it took me longer to find the staples than it did to make the card! I think staples fit better on fun kids cards. I got some goodies in this week so I inked up the rocket from Pun fun. Brayden is the main reason I got this set. He loves that rocket! I made this

I didnt get a chance to do yesterdays sketch challenge (sc161) so I decided to do a combo challenge card today. I kept my card simple since its been a few days since Ive stamped. I used my seeing stars jumbo wheel on the summer sun and brilliant blue layer. Looking at the card after it was loaded I think next time I will use the wheel in black on blue for a more vibrant background. I went over some of the dots in the wheel background with my white gel pen. The rocket was stamped twice. Once on wc paper and once on ww cs. I colored the rocket on wc paper w/my wc crayons and cut it out and popped it up on the ww layer. I stamped the sentiment in brilliant blue and punched it out with my ww punch. I added blue gingham ribbon and staples to the end of the ww punch. I added yellow staples in the right side corners. Have a great day!
