Blushing Hoot

Ive been playing with my copics so much lately Ive neglected my prismacolor pencils so I decided to pull them out yesterday and make another attempt at the sketch. I used some Basic Grey blush dp Ive had forever and sanded the edges. Im trying to go through my dp and use some instead of hoarding it!LOL! I always use my SU dp but I hoard everything else! I think its manily b/c when I first started stamping I only used SU but I love dp so I would still pick some up everytime we went to HL not just single sheets. The big slabs of paper! Its a sickness I tell ya!LOL! Well then the dp wouldnt have SU colors in it so I couldnt use it!LOL! I paired the dp with my fave owl image from CHF. Someone climbed all the way up that tree and painted her claws pink!LOL!! I used the SU 3 flower punch and punched flowers from the dp and aqua brads from Pink hedgehop papercrafts. I sponged the main image with cool carribean for the sky. The flower at the top of the image is there to cover up a boo boo!LOL! I wanted to add some pink ribbon but I couldnt find any the right color so I added some cranberry micro spool ribbon I got from Joanns. Okay enough of my babble today! Have a great one!!

Recipe:

Stamps: Ur a hoot
Paper: Basic Grey blush, cool carribean, PTI chocolate
Ink: memento brown, cool carribean
Accessories: 3 flower punch, aqua brads from Pink Hedgehog papercrafts, cranberry ribbon from Joanns, sanding block, prismacolor pencils, gamsol

Wow Shannon! What a great card! You're just as talented with those Prismas as you are the Copics! You've inspired me to get out my Prismas...it's been a while since I've used mine too!
Love your new banner! How the heck do you do that?

This is just adorable Shannon! You did a great job of coloring with your Prisma pencils. That DP is wonderful! Don't feel alone about collecting DP...there are lots of us out there. Back to your card, I had to click on the image and take a closer look at your owl and those oh so cute flowers you added. This really is quite a stunning card. I even like the pink claws:)
