Fluffles cracks me up...

...so I thought he would be perfect for todays get cracking challenge. Ive had this crackled background for about 2 yrs now and I think Ive used it once!LOL! I bought b/c I love the cracked glass look but Ive never been able to get it "just right". I colored fluffles using gamsol magic and stamped over the image with the crackled background inked in close to cocoa. I also stamped the background on the kiwi kiss and pacific point panels. All edges are sponged with close to cocoa. I added silver brads, kiwi kiss ribbon, and the new felt flurries for my embelshiments. I love the felt flurries!!

Well we're off to get ready for trick or treating since our town is doing it tonight b/c we have a football game tommorrow night. Im ssooooo ready for this month to be over with so I can finally breathe!LOL! Happy Halloween!!

Your neck of the woods

Today is the 200th sketch challenge and I got a chance to play before we go to the fall festival at the church tonight.

Ive had these images colored from H&M stamps Gday mate colored (gamsol magic) for quite awhile waiting to be put on a card. I went to my fave site for SU color combos and put in so saffron and creamy caramel. This is one of the color combos it pulled up sahara sand, buckaroo blue, so saffron, and creamy caramel. I love it! Perfect for this safari card! I didnt want to girlie it up to much so I added some stitching instead of ribbon.

Miracle from above

When I got home today and saw todays colors (kiwi kiss, pixie pink, and pumpkin pie) I couldnt pass it up!!LOL! A teacher I work with found out today that she is having a girl so I made this card for her. I love this KI memories dp and it had all the colors from todays challenge in it.

I used a set from H&M called Miracle from above. I love this set!!! A great baby set! I colored the images using gamsol magic and outlined with copic cool gray no.1 marker. I used Jens sfytt for my layout-a fun sketch!! I added pink ribbon I got from Joanns for $0.50. I also added some piercing in the corners and along the side.

Im really happy with how this card turned out and I hope she loves it!!

Batty for Cupcakes

I love this dp!! I cant believe this is the first time Ive used this new ghostly greetings dp! Its so cute. I made this card for Taylors cupcake challenge. As soon as I saw the sketch I knew what I wanted to do. I had to move one of the strips to get my card the way I wanted but I love how it turned out....and its a SUO card!! Its been forever since I made one of those!! This batty for you set was my FAVE last year so I had to give it some love this halloween.

I sat down yesterday getting all my halloween cards ready to mail out (local that is I mailed the out of town ones last week) and I realized I still need 8 more halloween cards by Friday!LOL! They are mainly for the kids teachers(6 of them) so they can be hand delivered....so expect to see some more halloween cards this week!LOL!

Dont you love when you have a perfect day!?!? We had one yesterday! I love it when that happens. We met my Mom for lunch and went shopping and got the kids halloween costumes (yes Im a procrastinator) I planned to make their costumes this year and ran into trouble finding the outfits I need for them so we went to plan B. I still didnt pay the $20-35 they are asking for halloween costumes!! (I'll share the pics Sat) okay back to my day...(I get sidetracked so easily!LOL!) after we went shopping we came home and the spent the day playing games (old maid, go fish, etc.) and when Danny got home we built a fire and roasted marshmallows and hotdogs. The kids LOVED it!LOL! Well all except Brayden he was not too fond of his burnt marshmallow!LOL! He said it was disgusting!!LOL! As I was kissing the kids good night last night Alana grabbed and told me she had the BEST day!!! I went to bed with the biggest smile on my face last night. Have a great day!

Fs90 Friendly Scarecrow

As I was posting this card this morning I realized Ive been on a whipper snapper kick!LOL!

Todays featured stamper is Kay aka speedystamper! Congrats Kay!! Kay has a great gallery!! I cased her card here. I really like the clean simple layout. I colored this super cute scarecrow using gamsol magic and outlined with copic warm gray no. 1 marker. I used textured cs instead of stamping. I loved the strip of cs and button at the top of her image so I HAD to include it but I moved it to the bottom. I had fun making this card. This scarecrow is sooo cute that you cant help but smile!LOL!

Ive been busy these past few days so I havent had time to post or stamp! I had to work Thursday and Friday and we were busy both nights so no stamping time! (pout!!) We had another football game yesterday and Braydens team didnt do so well!LOL! I think they lost 26-12. Brayden still had a blast and he was a great sport! Have a great day!

I made this card for todays sketch challenge. The image was larger than I thought it was so I had to adjust it a little. I made it look like the witch was flying onto the card. The dp I used is some Ive had for awhile from Paper Studio.

My super sweet firend and fellow Libra Lori's bday was yesterday so I wanted to wish her a happy bday on my blog!! Happy Birthday girlie!!!! Hope you had a great bday dinner last night!

Friends and Lattes

Im not a coffee drinker but I love sentiments in this set from Treehouse stamps. I think the polka dot cup is cute too! I made this card for todays color challenge. Pink pirouette, kiwi kiss, and choc chip are the colors for today.

I colored the coffee image using the gamsol magic technique. I used copic warm gray no.1 to ground my image. I made my dp using the coffee bean stamped tone on tone on kiwi kiss and added tri-dots with my choc chip marker. The chocolate satin ribbon is from Joanns. The prima is one Ive had forever! I got them from Eclectic Paperie. I colored the prima w/copic marker and the color really looks off in the pic for some reason. The layout is this weeks OCC sketch challenge.

After we finally got to FL we had a fabulous time! The trip there took ALL day!LOL! We had probs with our car about an hour from home. So we spent 1/2 the day at a garage. I was so proud of the kids for being so good with having to sit for sooo long! Saturday made the whole trip! We went and watched the sun set on the beach and the kids were running along the beach and finding shells. They had a blast and I took LOTS of pics!LOL! Have a great day!
