Poppy

Yayyy! I can finally post more often!! I have a stack of 5 or 6 cards waiting to be photographed. This is why I dont post alot...trying to wait on a day I can take some photos of the cards and in Ga summers thats not an easy thing to do!LOL! Yesterday as I was browsing through some blogs I found this awesome tutorial by Jen. Thank you Jen!!! I played around with my camera tonight *since I read it but forgot to write anything down of course*(lol!) and although its not quite right Im still happy to get a half decent photo inside!LOL! This card is miles ahead of anything else I've tried to photograph inside. Next time I will defintly write everything down and try it again. Mama you better try this!LOL!

Okay so for my card today I used a new to me super cute image from Tiddly Inks. I LOVE this poppy girl image. I pulled out some OLD Basic Grey paper I actually think this is from the 1st set of basicy grey paper I ever bought!LOL! I used Scarlet letter dp for my card and followed this weeks Card patterns sketch w/a little tweak!LOL! Im so happy to be back stamping I have really missed sharing with you guys. Have a great night! Tulip Brigitta

Yes its true! I really made a card!LOL! I've actually had this card made about 2 weeks now and since its for the Sfytt for June and today is the last day I figured I might better go ahead and post it. Nothing like waiting til the last day!LOL!

I dont even know where to begin to update you on all the things that have been going on in the last few months so I just give you a few quick updates in no particular order. After a years fight with leukemia my Papa passed away in May. Madison was saved and baptized. We had a great week of VBS where I helped teach a class. My husband is no longer in the band. We have been spending June in the pool just about everyday. I've lost almost 20 lbs. As of now I've decided to give Pre-K another go for next year since this will be Alanas last year at our school (sniff sniff).

Okay now onto the card. Even though I've havent been stamping alot over the last few months I've still been visiting some of my favorite blogs. My blogs are like my coffee for most of you...my day just doesnt start right without it!LOL! Since I havent stamped in awhile I combined a few things I jotted down for inspiration to give me a little push. I loved how Lesa colored the tulips and her top with the dots in this card. I loved Amys and Susan's take on the sfytt so I used both as my inspiration. For my papers and colors I loved Linda's card here. Its fun to case your stamping friends! I love how this turned out and it was just what I needed to get my mojo going. Im still not sure how often I will post something weekly at least. Hope you're all having a great summer and I will do my best to stop by your blogs and leave some comments!

Tuesday on Edge

For todays on Edge challenge. This is my fave Creeper Crew image! I just love her!LOL! No dp instead I used PTI damask stamps for the background and sentiment. This card was inspired by a card that someone else made that I cant seem to find right now..sorry! TFL!

Seriously!?!

Todays CAS challenge is tickle your funny bone. I like sarcastic funny since thats what I tend to be!LOL! So I went with this Creepy Crew girl and stamped a sassy sentiment from MFT and then I said set. I used my fave saying SERIOUSLY!?! the inside of the card says...ANOTHER birthday!? This is for one of my sarcastic friends and she will love it! I pulled out some retired SU vintage violet and paired it with Coredinations cs for a monochromatic card. I kept the layout super simple for the CAS challenge. I was just in the mood for a little CAS today!LOL! TFL!

I heart Neva

Todays SCS featured stamper is Neva aka Mom!! Yayy!! I had to play along today and since she is the Queen of Combos I had to throw a few challenges into one card. I got 4 in this card. I used this weeks SCS sketch, technique challenge(handmade tickets), ATS anything goes challenge and of course the FS challenge. I colored Rosalie with roses from ATS using copics and paired her with MME Be loved dp. Thats it for me today! Enjoy your week Mama from your biggest fan! Lurv ya!

Ladybug Polka Dots

I made this card for todays SCS WT challenge. The challenge is polka dots and I've been away from my stamp desk WAY too long. I HAD to make something!LOL! Since I've had Ladybug Nora out and ready to be colored I decided to play along with the challenge. Sorry for the pic. I think its time for a new camera. I've been having alot of problems with pics lately which is why I havent been posting. I have 6 cards ready to show but cant get a good pic of them! Uggghh!! 2 wks until Spring Break!! Woo Hoo!! So very ready!

Creeper Friday on Monday

I bet you thought I wasnt coming back and honestly... I wasnt sure if I was or not either! Life is just way too hectic lately and I was stressing so much over DT deadlines that I had to step down from all my DTs until this school year is over. We've got alot of changes going on this year in PreK and b/w work, 3 kids ages 10 and under, a husband in a band that is staying very busy I was stretched about as far as I could go!LOL! I really hated to leave the DTs but I just dont get the computer and stamping time anymore so until summer my posts will be sporadic.

I wanted to share a card with you today that I made..quite awhile back!LOL! I finally caved and bought some super cute creepers from TGF. When they first came out I thought they were cute but I didnt know if I would use them or not. Of course then I see all the fabulous cards everyone has made with them and I changed my mind. So I started with my fave Friday Creeper. Shes so cute with her wild curly hair! It was so fun to color! I paired her with some October Afternoon Daydream dp and of course colored her with my much loved Copics. I even jotted down the colors! Yayy! I went super simple with the layout but I just love how it turned out! Hope everyone has a great Valentines Day and btw I cant believe my daughter is 10 yrs old today!! I have a child with a double digit age...where did the time go?!
