Bittersweet Stella

First I want to say THANK YOU to all of you who left such sweet comments!! Its so funny how someone you've never laid eyes on can make you feel better!LOL!! So I decided to sit down and make a card today. I knew I had to use this bittersweet dp to make a Valentine since its fast approaching! I used Mercys tuesday sketch for my layout but I did alter it a tiny bit just pretend Stella is the top square panel!LOL!! Isnt she cute?!? She was part of my latest order from TGF. I think she is a doll with her little heart envelope. I colored her with copics of course and actually cut her out. You may remember cutting images out is NOT my fave thing to do!LOL! I also stamped a "happy valentines day" sentiment on the side of the square panel shes popped up on but the font is small so you might not be able to read it very well. I also used my first piece of prism cs (thanks to Denise and Jodi!LOL!) I've been really wanting to try it. Well Im off to TRY to catch up on some of my fave blogs....this may take awhile!LOL!
Stamps: Stella-The Greeting Farm
Paper: light razzleberry (prism), bittersweet dp, white
Ink: memento black and rich cocoa(sentiment), copics e50, e51, e53, r20, e25, e27, e29, r81, r83, r85, e31, e33, e35
Accessories: dimensionals, ribbon, pti button, twine

Polka Dot Suzi

Do you ever feel like when you plan to do something everything gets in the way?!? I was so happy when we school was cancelled on Friday due to the weather. I had two boxes of goodies come in that morning and I had full intentions on spending the day stamping. Little did I know that was far from what was in store for me. I wont go into detail on my blog but just know Im dealing with alot right now and Im not sure how often I will be on here to post. My hearts just not in it right now.
I do have something to share with you today. In one of my boxes of goodies was this Sassy Suzi image from The Greeting Farm. So I sat down today to see if some stamping therapy would help me feel better. Thankfully it did! I just love her hair and it was so fun to color. I pulled out some PTI polka dot parade dp and colored her to match. I went a little crazy with the polka dots on this one. I also used Mercys Tuesday sketch for my layout. Thanks for stopping by.
Stamps: Sassy Suzi-The Greeting Farm, SU polka dot background
Ink: memento black, versamark, copics

You have a pizza my heart

Im starting to get into Valentine mode here so I decided to go ahead and make my hubbys valentine card tonight. I colored up this Luigi image from High Hopes and paired him with some dp from Basic Grey (I think!) Junebug collection. I thought it was perfect for this Luigi image! I didnt want to add alot of girly embellies to his card so I just stuck with ribbon and he will have to get over it!LOL!! Hes not too picky about ribbon being on his cards since he know its my fave embellishment. I think this is just too cute!! I love this Luigi image with his heart shaped pizza. I forgot to take a pic of the inside but it looks just like the front except I stamped the sentiment "You have a pizza my heart" on the white layer instead of Luigi. Today was my first day back at work and let me tell you it was COLD this morning!LOL!! I had a great time these past 2 weeks with the kids and wish it didnt go by so fast. Hope you had a great Monday.

Stamps: Luigi-High Hopes
Paper: white, pti black, junebug dp, coredinations red
Ink: memento black, SU so saffron (sponging), copics-c0, c1, c3, c5, c7, c9, r24, r27, r29, r59, yr20, yr31, yr24, e30, e31, e35, e25, e27, e29, e000, e00, e11, r20

Marrakech Willow

Todays SCS featured stamper is Ann. I cased Ann's Coco's boo boos card. I kept the layout but somehow ended up with some extra layers!LOL! When I saw her card I knew I wanted to use Willow and her arm chair so I colored her up to match the marrakech dp. I was inspired to use this dp after looking at this other card in Anns gallery. Since some extra layers ended up on my card I decided to just do some paper piercing for my embellishments. So no ribbon on my card...thats two in a row!! (gasp!) I plan to send this card to one of my stamping friends who could use some warm wishes because if its cold here I know its COLLLDDD where she lives!LOL!!

I hope you are all having a great weekend. I plan on fully enjoying my last day before we go back to work/school tommorrow.
